Evian Masters
Evian-les-bains, France

Hi Everyone

I am on a plane to France. I am really excited to go and defend my title in the Evian Masters.

I have spent the past week in Las Vegas practicing and playing. I got in a lot of great work and fine tuning. The weather was 100 degrees every day with none of those East Coast thunderstorms!

It was so nice to be home in my house! It’s the little things like being able to go to 24-Hour Fitness in the morning, drive my car, and sleep in my own bed!

I spent one day of the off week in LA with EA Sports, launching the new “all play” feature for the Tiger Woods 2009 game. It’s for the Wii and is an amazing feature on all the EA Sports games, making the game more user friendly. It allows a beginner gamer to play against advanced gamers with user friendly features. Before the event we played the game backstage for hours. What a treat to play me in a video game. Surreal!

Hope everyone is great!

Hello from Rochester, New York.

I have been really busy. I have been in 6 cities in the last 10 days. After the McDonald’s LPGA Championship in Baltimore, MD, I flew to Kingsmill, VA, where I participated in a corporate outing. From there it was on to Chicago for a great event with the CME group. That Tuesday night, I flew to Los Angeles. Finally after a meeting in L.A., it was home to Las Vegas! It was great to be home for a few days. I practiced at Reflection Bay and The Butch Harmon School. I had struggled with my putting in the McDonald’s event, so I spent much time on the putting green. I added some lead tape to feel the head a bit more. I also picked up some bad habits in my setup, so I worked on fixing those.

We had a fun Friday where I shot the final episode of the Natalie Gulbis Show with The Golf Channel. It’s so sad to see it end! I love that show and the response from my fans has been incredible. We started at 5am. Cameras came into the house and followed me to the gym to meet my trainer and then back home to meet singer songwriter Josh Kelley. My favorite song, “Amazing” is played frequently on my iPod. He is an avid golfer as well and showed up at my house to spend the day. He sang favorite songs throughout the day and I got a private concert as we sat by my pool. He even wrote a few lines of a song. It was so fun! He had a good swing and played some golf in college. I also shot a Public Service Announcement for the Boy and Girls Clubs of America that day and he sang to the kids too! That evening, we topped off shooting with a red carpet event and party at the Palms Place Resort called CineVegas. It was a full day to say the least! But so much fun!

On Fathers’ Day, my dad and I got up at 4:00am to take flight to Newark, NJ. We stayed with Bobbi Brown and her family. Had a great dinner at an Irish place in New Jersey and watched the exciting U.S. Open. On Monday I played in a Skins game with Joe Pesci, Ray Romano, and Christie Kerr. It was a charity Skins game and an absolute blast. We were laughing from start to finish. We hustled through the Skins to catch the end of one of the greatest golf showings ever, the finish of this year’s U.S. Open. Congratulations to Tiger! What an amazing performance and best of luck to him for a healthy recovery from knee surgery!

Following that stretch, I went to Rochester, NY for this week’s LPGA event. It has been a full and exciting few weeks and I am looking forward to competition again. Hope everyone had a great Fathers’ Day!

Hello from Las Vegas, Nevada. I am very excited to be home after 5 weeks. It is such a thrill to walk into my home, be in my office, my kitchen, my couch, my bed and closet. I’m pretty excited. I took this week off from the LPGA to regroup and re-focus. I have not been playing as well as I would like so I am analyzing every aspect of my game and life. I went home to see Butch Harmon and learned that I had picked up 7 bad habits and gone back to old tendencies. This is good to hear because I can not see my own swing and I felt that it was okay and my average performances were mental. In reality I was struggling with my swing. So for several days we worked to dark on set up, grip, path and impact. It’s going to be a tough couple of weeks to change but I am really excited to get back out on Tour. Outside of golf, I enjoyed Las Vegas, and seeing my trainer, Mel; and going to the spa and my home. Next stop is Charleston, South Carolina. A big event! Annika is the host and it’s a 2.5 million dollar event. Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day! Thanks to the troops and everyone who has fought for our safety and freedom!

Hi from Charleston. This week we are playing a great course called RiverTowne Country Club, for the Ginn Event, hosted by Annika. It’s a great event. I had a really fantastic week. My best friends from Atlanta, GA, Mitch and Lara Mitchelson are here with me. We rented a house in the community where the course is. Mitch played in the Pro-Am with me which was a treat. We were off at 7am and I spent the afternoon with Lara. We went to a hip hop dance class and worked out. Had a great BBQ and spent time catching up.

It’s so fun to be in a house with your friends and see them first thing int he morning and also in the evenings to hang out. Lara got us advance tickets for the Sex and the City movie premiere on Friday. We were so excited! We watched Sex and the City episodes every night and were planning our outfit to wear to the open night. On Friday we wore our best designer outfits with Gucci and Jimmy Choo shoes! We were not alone with the other 99 percent female crowd, all dressed to impress. It’s the first time I have seen so many girls and women in dresses and heels in line for popcorn!

The movie was great. We watched more episodes the rest of the weekend as well.

As far as my golf game, I had a much improved week. I finished 11th and shot four sub par rounds. I got a new driver this week. A TaylorMade burner with a shaft that Butch advised. I was really please with the performance of the new club. I hit it so much further! The work I put in back in Vegas is starting to pay off and my stats were much much better.

Hope everyone is great. Thanks for coming to check out my site. I am on a plane heading to Baltimore for the second major of the year!
