Happy Halloween! I am in New York and its a great city to be on a holiday. The city has so much energy and filled with so many people and culture. This week I went to Madison Garden to go to the Knicks game. I am a die hard Sacramento Kings fan. But as you know I love sports and it was a treat to see the game. Yesterday I ran in Central Park. The park is getting ready for the famous New York City marathon. It is Sunday and the park was packed with runners from all over the world! I hope the weather stays nice for them. Tomorrow I am looking forward to a run with my trainer. We are going to run the last three miles which should be exciting!
I have been away from the tour for a little while and excited to return to represent the LPGA Tour in the Wendys Three Tour Challenge! The team is Helen Alfredsson Cristie Kerr and myself! We are all jazzed! The LPGA is defending and I want to keep the gorgeous trophy with me. Last year the girls let me keep the trophy at my home course Reflection Bay in Lake Las Vegas.
The event has moved for this year to Rio Secco not far from the Las Vegas Strip. Butch Harmon has his golf academy at Rio Secco so its like playing at my second back yard!
I hope everyone is great and has a safe halloween! I am not dressing up this year. But my favorite costumes have been the ones my mom made by hand when I was growing up! She made my costume every year! We always carved pumpkins and made pumpkin pie.
Take care everyone!
