Natalie Gulbis Launches New Look Official Web Site Natalie Gulbis Journal 2.20.2008
Feb 27

Aloha! The 2008 season starts today in Hawaii! What a place to start. I am very excited to get back to tournament golf. I have had a great off season with lots of practice, training, fun, events, time with family and friends and enjoying my time away from the tour. I feel fortunate to enjoy my time on tour and time away.

I have a great pairing the first round. Annika Sorenstam, Paula Creamer and I tee off just before noon. The first round of the year fills me with nervousness and excitement. I am looking forward to testing what I have worked on in the off season. I am healthy and ready to go. It’s always nerve wracking the first day of the season because I have worked very hard to prepare and it’s important to get off to a positive start. I know it’s a long year filled with lots of events and I look forward to what the year has in store

I hope everyone enjoys the new website. I am very excited about the new site. Tenth Floor has done an excellent job with the design and I love the new colors and pictures. I am even more jazzed to have Myspace and Facebook pages. Plus there are so many neat things we have planned to make the site more interactive and fan friendly. I hope everyone enjoys it!

As many may know I had the chance to caddy for a good friend, Ted Forstmann, at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. What an experience. Ted and I have been long time golf pals and it was fun to caddy in such a big event. Caddying is a lot of work. There is so much going on from clubs to divots to making sure everything is in order and clean, and that the player has the correct yardage and club, and that they are happy too. I caddied at my favorite golf course, Pebble Beach, on a warm clear day. It was beautiful out there. Ted was paired with his long time friend Vijay Singh. What a treat to watch him play up close. Also in the pairing was Ariel Emanuel. If anyone has ever seen my favorite show, Entourage, you would know who Ari is. The show was inspired by Ariel and Mark Walberg and their group of friends. Anyway, I really enjoyed the group, and caddying was an experience. I have a new appreciation for Greg’s job, and I look forward to being back as the player in the group.

Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday!!!

Natalie
