Natalie Gulbis took part in Derek Jeter’s Celebrity Golf Tournament in Tampa, Florida on Monday January 28th, 2008 held at the plush Avila Country Club. The annual event benefits Jeter’s Turn 2 Foundation. The Turn 2 Foundation, established in 1996, has awarded more than $8 million in grants to create and support signature programs and activities that motivate young people to choose healthy lifestyles.
Natalie Gulbis tries to attend this great event each January when her schedule permits. This year’s star studded event brings together the likes of Natalie Gulbis, Annika Sorenstam, Morgan Freeman, Michael Jordan, John Legend, Warren Sapp, and many others.
A Saturday night launch party aboard the Yacht StarShip that was docked alongside the Channelside port in Tampa kicked off the festivities. Practice rounds and a fun day highlighted Sunday leading up to the main event on Monday. The stars came out and the sun was shining brightly on Monday for the fifth annual Derek Jeter Celebrity Golf Classic.
