Natalie Gulbis completed Day 1 at the 2009 Kraft Nabisco Championship with a very nice 1 under par 71.
Natalie started on number 10 and played the back side in all pars, except for a birdie on number 13, to post a one under 35 going out. The front side was a little bumpier with a birdie, 2 bogeys, and another birdie to finish the front at even par 36. Put them together and Natalie Gulbis had a round of 71 for the opening round.
Natalie Gulbis is currently in a tie for 18th place as Brittany Lincicome leads the tournament at 6 under par.

Day 2 at the HSBC Women’s Champions wasn’t overly exciting for Natalie Gulbis. Natalie gave back one of the strokes she gained on day one by shooting a ho hum one over 73.
Two bogies on the front side left her at 2 over going out, but 2 quick birdies on the back got her back to even par for the day. Then a bogey on 18 put Natalie Gulbis one over for day two. Now in 22nd place at one under for the tournament Natalie Gulbis has some work to do.
Jane Park and Paula Creamer still lead after 2 rounds at 6 under par.
