Slip slidin’ away can only describe Natalie Gulbis during round 4 of the Kraft Nabisco Championship. Natalie recorded her highest round of the tournament, a 4 over par 76.

A bogey on number one, and a double bogey on number five only got worse from there. Only a birdie on number 9 could give Natalie Gulbis any hope on the front side, keeping her at 2 over 38 for the front. Bogeys on 12, 16, and 17 could only be offset by a lone back side birdie on number 15 to equal the front side score of 2 over par 38. Add em up and it says 4 over par 76 for the day…

Not a great week for Natalie Gulbis, as after 4 rounds her score was 8 over par, good enough to make the cut but in the 40-50ish place range. It could be time for some rest for Natalie’s back.

Right now Cristie Kerr, Natalie Gulbis’ best friend, is leading the tournament with Kristy McPherson at 9 under par with 6 holes to play.

Natalie Gulbis finished day 3 of the 2009 Kraft Nabisco Championship with a 2 over par round of 74.

Natalie Gulbis started the day with a birdie on number one and then gave it back on number 6 to finish the front side in even par 36. The back side was not so clean as Natalie Gulbis again had a hard time finding par. Natalie had 4 bogeys and 2 birdies on the back for a 2 over 38. Bogey, birdie, bogey, birdie, a few pars and bogey, bogey, on the back left her at 2 over on the back and ultimately 2 over for the day.

Natalie Gulbis is now in a tie for 30th place at 4 over par after 3 rounds. Kristy McPherson, Cristie Kerr, and Brittany Lincicome all shot 2 under on day 3 and sit 1,2,3 on the leaderboard as well.

The wind was a big factor on day 2 of the 2009 Kraft Nabisco Championship in Rancho Mirage, California. Consequently, Natalie Gulbis had a tough day, carding a 3 over par 75 for the day.

The front side was ugly as Natalie Gulbis birdied number two only to double-bogey number three and then bogey holes 4 and 6 for a 3 over 39 going out. The back side was an inconsistant affair with almost every other hole a birdie or bogey resulting in an even par 36 for the back nine.

Natalie Gulbis’ 2nd round 75 puts her currently in a tie for 26th place after 2 rounds. Natalie tees off in round 3 with Se Ri Pak at 1:35PM Eastern time.
