Natalie Gulbis was hot, hot, hot at the Corning Class on day 3 as she turned in a 6 under par 66 for the day.
This round featured what could be Natalie Gulbis’ best run of holes ever on the LPGA Tour. Starting on number one, Natalie Gulbis birdied 7 of the first 8 holes on the front side. Consequently, Natalie Gulbis posted a 7 under par 29 for the front side in the Corning Classic on day 3. Her 29 is surely in or approaching record territory. A bogey on number 10 was the only smudge on the day as Natalie cooled off on the back and turned in a one over 37 for the back. All in all a complete round 6 under 66.
Currently in a tie for 17th place at 12 under par, Natalie Gulbis is 5 shots behind leader Mika Miyazato who is at 17 under par for the three days. Look for Natalie to get some nice television coverage in the final round from 7-9:30pm eastern on The Golf Channel.

Day 2 at the 2009 Corning Classic was a steady one for Natalie Gulbis. Natalie turned in a very commendable two under par 70 for day 2 and now is 6 under for the tournament in a tie for 26th place.
Natalie Gulbis started on the back side for round two and immediately posted bogey on number 10. After 6 pars in a row Natalie then birdied number 17 to finish the back even par 36. The front started off with 4 pars and then a sweet 2 birdies in the last 5 holes gave Natalie a 2 under 34 for the front side and a 2 under 70 overall for day 2.
Karine Icher followed her opening day 64 with a 66 on day two to lead the tournament at 14 under par.

Natalie Gulbis posted another below par round on the first day of the 2009 Corning Classic. Natalie turned in a very nice 68 in the first round of the final Corning Classic as this tournament is in it’s last year of existance.
A bogey on number one was followed by three birdies to give Natalie Gulbis a 2 under 34 on the front side. Continuing her hot play, Natalie proceeded to eagle number 10 before finally posting a bogey on number 16. Showing her competitive nature Natalie came right back and birdied number 18 for another 2 under par 34 on the back side. Together both sides made for a nice 68 in round one.
Hee Young Park leads at 8 under after day one.

Natalie Gulbis slipped a bit on Day Four at the Sybase Classic and turned in a one over par 73.
Scores were not great for anyone on Saturday or Sunday but Natalie managed to keep pretty steady. In the final round she started with 3 birdies and 2 bogeys on the front side for a decent one under 35. After pars on 10, 11, and 12, Natalie Gulbis then posted bogey on both 13 and 14. Pars the rest of the way home left her with a 2 over 38 for the back side and a one over par 73 for the final round.
Natalie finished just outside the Top Ten with a tie for 13th place at the 2009 ShopRite Sybase Classic.
